Hello readers! It’s that time of the week again, when we share the books we’ve been enjoying! As always, I’m also open to any posts about helping others learn to read or improve their reading skills (including adults). Basically, anything literacy-related is fair game.

I’ve been busy making Thanksgiving printables from my favorite book, the Psalms. If you’re interested, you can find them here and here. I think these would look beautiful on the wall at Thanksgiving, but I also think they’d make fun placemats if you have a laminator! I also made one that I just love from my favorite Mother Teresa quote, and you can get it over at Desperate Homeschoolers.
I also managed to read a novel this week! It was Heart of the Country($) by Rene Gutteridge and John Ward. It was okay, and I needed the light read right now, but I can’t say I’d really recommend you run out right now and buy it unless you’re a huge Rene Gutteridge fan. I absolutely loved the first book of hers that I read, My Life as a Doormat (in Three Acts)($), and I’ve since devoured everything of hers I can get my hands on. None have been as good as that one though I did enjoy her Boo Series($) and the Occupational Hazards Series($) as well. So, if you’re here looking for a book recommendation, go with the Doormat one($). 🙂
And now, it’s time to party!
