Hello readers! It’s that time of the week again, when we share the books we’ve been enjoying! I’m also open to any posts about helping others learn to read or improve their reading skills (including adults). Basically, anything literacy-related is fair game. I noticed this interesting book is free today on Amazon:
(That is an affiliate link, but if you go today, it’s free, so…) 🙂
Last week, I forgot to share what I’ve been reading! Yes, it’s been that kind of a week! I got a little bogged down in a couple of books over the past few weeks so I’ve been playing catch-up. I finally finished the very long book Trim Healthy Mama by Serene Allison and Pearl Barrett. While I don’t plan to follow their advice to the letter at this point, I learned a lot from this book about adult nutrition and hormones. I think it’s a very well-researched and well-thought out book and I am glad I persevered and read the whole thing. There are also some really yummy recipes in it!
I also just finished an old Christian classic, My Desire by Susan Warner. I got a free digital copy from one of the many websites that gives away old books for free, and it was truly terrible – like a game of MadGab in a book, but I loved the book so much that I actually persevered through that one as well. I hope to find a better copy of it, but unfortunately, I highlighted this one a lot so I’ll lose all those. Bummer!
How about you? What have you been reading? I really love to hear your recommendations!

Joining in is easy; just click “Click here to enter…” next to “You are next” and copy/paste the URL of a blog post’s (not your homepage’s) URL. Choose a photo to upload and then click some of the other great posts in the party and meet new bloggers and find out about new books!
